Greely students & teachers donate hair for wigs for cancer patients | News
CUMBERLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Committing to a major haircut can be a scary thing as a young woman, add on to that the pressure of getting it cut in front of your entire school.
But there were no shortage of volunteers ready to donate their locks to Pantene Beautiful Lengths - which will then make wigs for cancer patients who've lost their hair.
61 students and teachers from Greely High School (along with some parents) all got in the hot seat Tuesday afternoon during an assembly - and with support from the school, said goodbye to their hair.
