Maine Robotics has partnered with local groups and robot teams from around the state to offer ROBOT OPEN HOUSES. The Open Houses are designed to provide all ages of the general public with details of the existing robot programs running in the State of Maine.
There are three open houses offered this September and they all run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and are free and open to the public.
Bangor: Maine Discovery Museum – 9/18
Oakland: Messalonskee High School Cafeteria – 9/21
Falmouth: Falmouth High School Cafeteria – 9/26
No registration is required and there is no cost to come and participate. We will have teams there to tell you about the FIRST® LEGO® League (ages 9-14), the VEX Robotics Competition (middle and high schools), and the FIRST® Robotics Competition (high school).
From 6:15 to approximately 6:45 we’ll have presentations about the different programs and the rest of the time people can wander around asking questions of Maine Robotics staff or from the teams representing the different programs.
More information may be found at www.mainerobotics.org and selecting Programs and then Workshops and Open Houses from the menu.
