North Yarmouth Academy (NYA) is hosting a boys varsity lacrosse game to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project on Saturday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. on NYA’s Lewis (turf) field (154 Main Street, Yarmouth). NYA will play 2011 Class A champion Scarborough High School. A gate fee will not be charged, but donations will be encouraged. A military color guard and speakers from active duty and retired military will be part of the program. Players will be wearing special jerseys in honor of the event.

Tens of thousands of wounded warriors receive support each year through the WWP programs and services designed to nurture the mind and body and  to encourage economic empowerment and engagement.  This event is sponsored by North Yarmouth Academy, Scarborough High School and Atlantic Sportswear.

North Yarmouth Academy is an independent, college preparatory, coeducational day school serving students in grades five through twelve. For 198 years, NYA has fostered integrity, character and intellect in young adults. For more information, please contact NYA at 207-847-5423 or visit our website at www.nya.org
