Gritty McDuff's (http://www.grittys.com/) is kicking off the holiday season with the release of its seasonal "Christmas Ale," available now through the end of the year, the company announced today.
"This ESB-style beer has a full-bodied, malty taste with slightly roasted undertones," said Thomas Wilson, Gritty’s marketing director. "Its flavor perfectly complements richer holiday foods, and it’s a natural choice for entertaining."
A robust ale that will be served throughout the fall on draft at Gritty's three Maine brew pub locations (Portland, Freeport and Lewiston/Auburn), Christmas Ale also will be available on draft in select bars and restaurants throughout the region and at beer retailers throughout New England in 6- and 12-packs, 22-ounce bottles and mini-kegs.
