Freeport High School One Act encore show

The date of the Freeport High School One Act encore show has been changed from the 22nd to Thursday March 24th (Less than 24 hrs before we perform at the State Finals) so not to conflict with the RSU5 Board Meeting!

Freeport High School proudly presents an special encore presentation of the 2011 MPA One Act Regional Winning Production of You're Killing Me...By Taylor Kissin (Class of 2011) Directed by Tim Ryan & Taylor Kissin

The play is about Neil, a failed standup comedian, who believes that the only way to prove to the world that he is funny is by seeking revenge against the comedy club that ridiculed his lack of humor. With the unwilling help of his wife, Liz, Neil robs the club with several others inside. What turned into a robbery, quickly becomes a hostage situation with the hostages "Standing Up" to their captor!

Freeport High School is one of only two high schools in the state that produces Student written one act plays for competition.  If Freeport prevails at the MPA One Act State Finals it will be the first time in the 80 history of the One Act competitions that a student written play won. Freeport came close in 2008 but was 2 points shy and place 2nd.

This Production will compete in the MPA State One Act Drama competition

to be held in March 25th - 26th at Rockland High School

Freeport High is scheduled to perform last on March 25th @ the 6pm Session!
